Dear Elma Family, In my last email I asked that you pray for Sharon who is having eye problems.  Thank you so much for doing that.  Let me explain what the Lord has done. For the past few weeks EBCCK had been trying to care for her eye problems, but had not found the person who really could tell us what was wrong. The CEO directed that she be taken as soon as possible to a specialist who could give her the treatment she needed. EBCCK...

It...

Greetings to the Elma Family, Please note that many of you on the list know each other and are aware of the history of the Elma Centre. We are now facing a challenge to our history because the former director is now claiming to be running a home for children under the same name as we used to have. He is trying to gain control of one of our older high school youth. Please pray that the Lord will open the eyes of those in charge here in...

Dear Family of EBCCK, We want to wish you all a very blessed Christmas time as you remember the birth of the our Lord and Savior Jesus of Nazareth. He is indeed the Savior of the World and He will save it in spite of the way things look today. It will take his judgments and his return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, but some day the earth will be blessed by his rule and the knowledge of the Lord will cover the earth as the waters...

Dear Supporters and Friends of Elma: I wanted to update you on our situation, but I will not be able to cover all the news. First I would like you to pray for one of our Board members and his family. Mr. Boit, his oldest daughter, who had finished college was not feeling well in the morning and became sick enough that they started to the hospital with her, but she passed away on the way. As I understand it she had not been real sick...

Greetings to each of you, As members of the EBCCK family you might be wondering what is going on. The schools are closed for a few weeks during this month. The children are busy with activities at the Elma Centre, which include games, some chores, reading, looking after their own needs, and caring for medical needs and other things. Dear Elma Family, I have not reported for some time. I trust that you are still remembering the children and work at the Elma Centre. Things are happening. We have had rain and the crops that the children have planted are up and growing. We did find that the area we picked to grow some of the vegetables has too much clay and holds the water to the extend that the vegetables like cabbage died. Therefore we are working on developing a...
