The Elma Barnett Children’s Centre exists to follow God’s command in the book of James 1:27 to ‘look after orphans in their distress’.

Elma Barnett Children’s Centre provides shelter, security, education, training, food, clothing, health-care and Christian teaching to former street children, AIDS orphans, and other disadvantaged youth.

Our purpose is in alignment with Proverbs 22:6 “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.
